WCCO-TVFor the past three years, Make-A-Wish® Minnesota has partnered with WCCO-TV and its AccomplishMN community outreach program.

Through AccomplishMN, which was launched in 2014, WCCO-TV has inspired viewers to donate more than 40 million airline miles and points to help grant wishes for Minnesota wish kids! Viewers and Make-A-Wish supporters called the WCCO-TV phone bank or logged in online to donate airline miles and points from participating airlines, such as Delta Airlines, Sun Country Airlines and United Airlines.

In addition to the successful miles drives, WCCO-TV helped raise awareness about the power of wishes through news stories and projects, including participating in such wishes as building Kaleb’s Sandlot-inspired playhouse in 2014 and granting Jack’s wish to be a newscaster in 2015.

Matt Brickman, Heather Brown and Kate Raddatz are among the several WCCO-TV anchors and reporters who have been emcees at Make-A-Wish fundraising events. This year, Matt Brickman will return to emcee Wish Ball for the second time.

A huge THANK YOU to WCCO-TV and its viewers for bringing hope, strength and joy to Minnesota wish kids.

This year, Make-A-Wish Minnesota is excited to again partner with WCCO-TV through the Wishes in Flight Airline Miles Drive set for Wednesday, March 22. Be sure to tune in to WCCO-TV for exciting details and inspiring wish stories.
