The first ray of sunlight was starting to peek through the chilly morning. Sixteen-year-old Zach barely noticed. With a fishing rod in hand and a lure in the water, he waited patiently. He was rewarded shortly when he caught a 36 and 38-in Northern Pike within 10 minutes.
Zach had the time of his life fishing as his wish to fish in Canada came true. Cancer, which had been Zach's terrifying reality for a long time was the furthest thing from his mind during his wish trip.
A wish is a chance to be free from the burdens of a serious illness – a chance to play, create, imagine and dream. That's why wishes are important. That's why we need YOUR support on Give to the Max Day on Thursday, November 13.
We hope we can count on your support during Give to the Max Day. Your gift will help ensure that every eligible child in Minnesota will experience the enduring joy of a wish come true.
