Four-year-old Brady’s life was turned upside down when he was diagnosed with a brain tumor. He has been through four surgeries and multiple rounds of chemotherapy. Brady often can’t go to school and really misses school when he is not able to attend.
One day, Brady saw Cinderella Castle on TV. He informed his parents he wished to go there! This past March, with the help of Make-A-Wish Minnesota, Brady and his family headed off to sunny Florida where Cinderella Castle awaited him.
At Magic Kingdom, Brady couldn’t wait to check out the iconic fairytale palace inspired by the castle in Disney’s Cinderella. After his magical visit to the castle, Brady rode the roller coaster which he loved. He saw many characters throughout the day and got to meet Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Goofy and Donald Duck.
During his wish, Brady got the chance to enjoy a week away from pokes and doctors where he could be a normal kid simply having fun. “We asked Brady many times if he was having fun and he continued to say yes. For a week, we felt like a normal family and forgot about "the journey," said his mom, Lori. “I cannot imagine a better wish for him. We got to spend a week at this amazing place that we would have otherwise never been able to see," Lori said.
