Guy Mingo, his company Marsden Holding, and his family have been vital to helping Make-A-Wish® Minnesota bring hope, strength and joy to wish families. Through sponsorships, and donation of funds and materials, Marsden Holding and the Mingo family have helped more than 25 Minnesota wishes come true.
Guy’s connection to Make-A-Wish is a personal one: he lost a niece to cancer and first learned about the organization when her wish to go to Walt Disney World® Resort was granted. As time passed, he thought of her experience and knew he wanted to become involved with the organization. He attended his first event in 2009 and hasn’t looked back.
Guy has shared his Make-A-Wish experience both at home and at the office. Hearing her father talk about the impact of a wish, Guy’s daughter Tiffany was inspired to become engaged in the Foundation. She has given her support through event attendance and most recently, by partnering with her father to co-chair the 2016 Wish Ball.
At the office, Guy is an ambassador for Make-A-Wish, sharing our mission and stories. He believes it is important to engage the employees at Marsden Holding in the company’s charitable giving efforts, and sees it as an investment in the employees themselves and the larger community.
We are grateful to Guy and Tiffany for their efforts to make the 2016 Wish Ball a tremendous success, and to the Mingo and Marsden Holding families for their long history of support of Make-A-Wish Minnesota. We thank them for efforts to share the power of a wish®.
